Mike Andberg was born in Takoma Park, Maryland where he was raised until eight before moving to Silver Spring, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland for two BA degrees in art and taught art in Virginia for 13 years before moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico to study film at The College of Santa Fe.
    He has always emersed himself in art throughout his life. His first passion was for playing guitar and piano. Always a natural in art, he created various two-dimensional arts well into his forties.    Photography became an equal interest during those years, one that continues through to today. Majoring in screenwriting led him to an even greater love of prose that spawned many collections of writings and short stories. A jack-of-all-trades artist, he takes great enjoyment sharing his creative body of lifelong work on this website.
